About Us

Welcome to the home of the Setra Consort, a new dynamic vocal ensemble based in London, UK. Drawing on some of the finest young ensemble singers in the country the Setra Consort aims to explore all types of choral music ranging from 16th Century polyphony to modern day close harmony arrangements with an emphasis on performing music by under represented composers and minorities.

The members of the Setra Consort are all leading choral musicians working in the UK and abroad and currently sing with top vocal ensembles such as Tenebrae, Tallis Scholars, The Sixteen and The Monteverdi Choir. Above all they have all been friends for many years and share their common love of making music to the highest standards with friends.

In January 2022 the group travelled to Kenardington, Kent to record their debut album ‘In Beauty May I Walk’.
